For more than 130 years, we have been manufacturing high-quality stoneware tiles in Zahna-Elster, located between Berlin and Leipzig. Founded in 1891 by Maximilian Joseph Utzschneider and Edouard Jaunez, the company is now run by their direct descendant, Maxime Fischer.
Now in its sixth generation, the family-run company places the highest value on tradition while keeping its remarkable history alive. Many historic buildings and entrances dating from the Gründerzeit are still fitted with Zahna tiles today. This makes our porcelain stoneware tiles one of the most sustainable flooring solutions.
