Wiener Linien underground stations

Since 2014 we have been proud to supply our tiles for the historic stations of the Vienna underground lines. Over time we have already fitted nine stations with high-quality Zahna tiles, including Stadtpark (U4), Alser Straße (U6) and Friedensbrücke (U4).

To meet the needs of these unique projects, we not only developed a special black shade, but also worked an integrated tactile guidance system directly into the tiles, a particular solution for greater safety and accessibility.

The heavy load a station is exposed to every day demands exceptional strength. Our tiles were therefore made from a robust 15 mm material that not only withstands wear, but also ensures lasting beauty and quality.
