Kirche St. Ägidius

Over several years the Catholic church of St. Ägidius in Kusel was restored. Among other work, large parts of the historic church floor had to be remade. To repair the damaged areas, tools for reproducing 8 different tile decors were made in collaboration with our toolmaker. In addition, our in-house laboratory developed and produced 10 special colours based on the original tiles. Besides the custom pieces, Zahna-Fliesen was also able to supply several historic decors from its own archive.
